I began my career in the window cleaning industry in October 1970 while in college. By 1977, I had bought out my business partner and developed JOBS Building Services into the market leader in Houston and one of the largest window cleaning companies in the United States. In 1981, I formed Aluminum Maintenance Systems of Texas (AMST), and eventually expanded to provide architectural metal restoration as well as custom elevator interiors.
In June of 2019, we formed an investment partnership with private equity firm Keystone Capital to form the first platform in the exterior high-rise window cleaning and façade maintenance industry. In March of 2021, JOBS-AMST’s merged with Valcourt Building Services, creating a footprint that is now the backbone of Valcourt.
Our relationship with Valcourt and their family of brands runs deep, stemming from my time at the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA) as its President in 1994, and my continued board service. We are proud to be a part of such an experienced, customer service and safety-focused group, and look forward to what’s to come!
