William (Bill) Ferguson began washing windows at the age of 15 in Chicago. After leaving Chicago he worked in Los Angeles California for a short period. He then moved to Houston Texas in the late 1960’s to start a window washing company. In 1970 Bill formed a partnership with LaRue Coleman, and JOBS Building Services began. In 1977 at the age of 36 Bill decided it was time to retire after being in the business for 21 years. LaRue Coleman bought out Bill’s shares in the company in 1977. Bill went into the Arabian horse business for several years. In 1987 Bill returned to the window cleaning business and opened an office in Dallas Texas and named it April Building Services. Bill passed away April 18, 2018 and will always be remembered as one of LaRue’s very best friends.
